Since graduating Greenwood High School Class of 1992, I have gone on to complete a BS Health Science degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. I worked as an Emergency Department Tech at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC from 2011-2013. I joined the OR team there as an Anesthesia Technician, where I then was able to become ASATT ( American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) certified. I worked at then, Palmetto Health Richland, in Columbia, SC. I was able to work in the heart and vascular tower, ART Tower, at MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina) as well as learning to assist with heart transplant surgeries. I've been traveling as a Certified Anesthesia Technician since September 2015. I have worked all over the United States in a total of thirty six operating rooms in ten states. I have extensive experience in rapid transfusion, trauma, transplants, cardiac cases as well as general, ambulatory, and pediatric cases. I have had the opportunity to train many techs along the way. I have accepted a permanent Anesthesia Manager position at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC.
