A Message to Our Members and Colleagues Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The health and safety of our professional community and Society members is of paramount importance to ASATT.

Concerns over the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are expected to grow and we would like to take this opportunity to encourage caution while avoiding panic. We believe it is important to stay abreast of current, relevant and accurate information from reputable sources, as well as maintaining common sense hygiene practices…both of which we as trained allied health professionals routinely follow in our professional and personal lives.

As the impact of coronavirus evolves, we at ASATT will continue to share updates and resources related to the current situation. While we as an organization are committed to keeping the information on our website, in our email communications and in other Society publications as up to date as possible, we encourage you to check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization websites, and other reputable resources, for more detailed information. To this end, we have included a list of reliable resources below.

As a result of continuous monitoring of the evolving situation with the coronavirus, ASATT made the decision to cancel one upcoming event on March 29th, 2020, the Region 7 Meeting that was to have taken place in Bellevue, Washington. We are currently looking into options for rescheduling it in the near future. At this time, ASATT has no plans to cancel or postpone any other upcoming activity. However, the ASATT leadership will continue to closely monitor and assess the situation based on what new developments occur and make decisions regarding future events based on all information available. In all instances, ASATT is committed to taking the necessary steps to the extent possible to provide a safe experience for participants of our events.

Thank you for your support of ASATT and our profession during this challenging period. If you have any questions, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Sincerely,

ASATT Board of Directors
