Recertification is closed until November 1st, 2023.
Recertification is open from November 1st to December 31st, and January 1st to January 31st with the addition of a $75 late fee.
PLEASE NOTE as you are recertifying: ASATT accepts only 5 third party (non-ASATT) digital CEUs per day.
There are three options for submitting your recertification documents. Please read through the options below.

Option 1:
ASATT Members who have all their CEs on file in the database and would like to pay with a credit card can do so online starting November 1st.
- Log in to the ASATT website
- Put your cursor on the Member Center tab
- Click on Dashboard
- Click View my CEs
- Once you're viewing your CE page, if you have all your CEs on file and are due to recertify, you’ll see a button saying You can recertify today with the recertification fee for your membership type. The recertification fee for members is $100 and non-members is $450. Members with the 2 year membership do not have to pay a fee but still have to click the button to complete the process.
- Click the You can recertify today button.
- If you need to pay a fee, enter your credit card information and hit submit. You’ll get a thank you for recertifying screen, and the payment receipt will be emailed along with a recertification letter.
*Even if you have all your CEs on file you still need to go through the recertification process.
Option 2:
Recertification online: Need to submit CEs (upload)-ONLY USE IF PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD
*Do not stop in the middle of the process. If you will NOT be uploading documents, DO NOT pay online. Submit payment and documentation together by mail, or email. Email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.@asatt.org

For members to get the member rate, please make sure your membership is current. Paying for membership should have been done ahead of time and cannot be done at the time you are recertifying. For non-members recertifying online, during the recertification period you have been granted access to log into the ASATT website to submit. When logging in use your email address for the user ID and then click I forgot my password and a temporary password will be emailed to you.
- Login in to the ASATT Website.
- Put your cursor on the Cer.A.T./Cer.A.T.T. tab for a drop down menu.
- On the bottom, click the option for Recertification Form
- Once logged in your contact information will populate the form. Make sure all required fields are filled in completely.
- Scroll down to the program details section and enter CEs. Make sure to list the date the CEs were earned, the name of the CE or Program, click if a certificate was issued or other documentation, list the number of CEs earned and upload supporting certificates or documents. Click "Add Another" if you need to upload an additional CE in that section.
Please keep in mind that ANY CEUs not earned through ASATT beginning January 1, 2021 will require a third party fee.
The fee breakdown is as follows:
- CEUs 1-10 are $10 each
- CEUs 11-15 are $15 each
- CEUs 16-20 are $20 each
- CEUs 21-25 are $25 each
- CEUs 26-30 are $30 each
If a certified technician chooses to earn all required CEUs from third-party providers (BLS, ACLS, PALS excluded) the Cer.A.T. can expect to pay $275.00 total in CEU processing fees (not including any recertification fee).
If a certified technologist chooses to earn all required CEUs from third-party providers (BLS, ACLS, PALS excluded) the Cer.A.T.T. can expect to pay $550.00 total in CEU processing fees (not including any recertification fee).
Please make sure to enter your BLS, ACLS and PALS separately and select the appropriate entry in the “Type of Documentation” field for each on the recertification form. These do not require a fee to be paid if entered correctly.
- Once you are done entering CEs click "Submit Request"
- That will take you to the credit card payment form. After entering the credit card information click “Continue to Pay Online.”
- If payment was successful you’ll receive a confirmation screen that payment was received and your submission has been sent to the Recertification Committee for review. (This does not mean you have been approved, only that it's under review)
- Once approved by the Recertification Committee the database will be updated and a recertification letter will be sent.
*Once you start the online submission, please complete. You will not be able to go back in. Only use online submission if paying with a credit card.
Option 3:
If submitting with a check or by mail
No faxes for recertification will be accepted.
- Print the recertification application form and proceed to completely fill out the application. Credit Card form if you would like to pay with a credit card. Please do not submit credit card information via email as it is not secure.
- Log in to the ASATT website
- Put your cursor on the Member Center tab
- Click on Dashboard
- Click View my CEs
- Print your recertification information. You must submit a copy of your information regardless of whether or not you have earned CEs through ASATT sponsored events. Non-Members submit form with proof of CEs
- Enclose the recertification application form, a copy of your recertification information from the database, proof of the remaining CEs (if you don’t have the required 20 or 30 CEs in the database), and correct payment for recertification. If you are mailing your packet after December 31st, be sure to include the late payment fee.
Re-issuance of Certificate
Non members requiring a duplicate certificate can do so by completing the Re-issuance of Certification Certificate form and submitting it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please note there is a $25 cost per certificate/occurrence.
