The Committee on Accreditation for Anesthesia Technology Education (CoA-ATE) has established a growing network of CAAHEP-accredited Anesthesia Technology training programs at academic institutions across the United States.

Academic institutions with an established Anesthesia Technology curriculum undergo a rigorous application process overseen by CAAHEP and CoA-ATE. Beginning in March 2024, new programs enter the process by seeking to obtain initial accreditation. Once the program has been reviewed by the CoA-ATE and a recommendation for accreditation has been submitted, CAAHEP is responsible for awarding initial accreditation. Once a program is accredited the program's graduates are deemed eligible to sit for the ASATT NCE.

ALL new programs that wish to enter the accreditation process must begin with the Request for Accrediting Services (RAS). To learn more – Click Here.
