I have been a member of ASATT for 8 years. I have been on the Strategic Planning Committee this past year. I have attended several Regional Meetings, and will be attending the National this year in Orlando. I have communicated well with officers of ASATT, and have a good understanding of the organization as well as some concerns of other ASATT members. I have an extensive history of treasurer duties as I have been treasurer-elect of several local and school organizations, so I have an in-depth knowledge of the importance of timely and concise record keeping that needs to be accomplished at the treasurer position.

I have been a certified member of ASATT since 1996. I have been the secretary of ASATT for the past two years. During this time, I have had guidance with setting up and preparing the minutes of all conference calls, BOD meetings as well as the annual business meeting. During this time, I have transitioned as everyone else under the new management leadership given options to explore and arrange the minutes in more comprehensive fashions and follow through. I have assisted with the cleaning up of the website under the direction of Maretta Grandona, Cer.A.T.T Immediate Past President.
Professional Experience: 1999 – Current, Certified Anesthesia Technician, Associated Anesthesiologists of Joliet.
Pain Clinic-In this capacity, I have direct patient care admitting patients to the area, interviewing and documenting the encounter, providing pre and post instructions for procedures, assisting with procedures and maintaining pharmacy samples.
Operating Room- I assisted anesthesia personnel with varied intubations, extubations, processing anesthesia equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment, analyzing blood gases, setting up and cleaning up cases. Preparing capital budget. Setting up evaluations and trials and maintaining communication within the department and others as needed.

Twenty-Four Hour Responsibilities:
-Works with the Chief of Service to improve cost effectiveness, maintain budget, and procure equipment.
-Supports Anesthesiologists in their clinical practice.
- Attends emergency codes to support medical care team.
- Responsible for maintaining all equipment used in department, both directly and indirectly through Biomedical and Engineering department.
-Maintains service records for Quality Assurance and regulatory purposes.
- Responsible for procurement of equipment and disposables needed to support medical staff, cost-effectively, in an ongoing and continuous manner.
- Assures adequate quantities of pharmaceuticals are available in the unit, and are maintained according to policies and procedure.
- Responsible for staffing, scheduling, education and training of technical staff.
- Includes maintenance of multiple Certifications required for position.
- Responsible for Competency validation and evaluations
- Achieves staff satisfaction by exercising leadership needed to promote an environment emphasizing learning opportunities, autonomy and team accountability.

- Coordinated and set up seven workshops for the Kaiser Annual Anesthesia Symposium.
