ASATT operating costs continue increase and in order to approve a balanced budget for the 2010-2011 term, the Board of Directors voted to increase prices for certification, recertification, membership and the Sensor quiz. The Board of Directors took the price increases seriously; they not only apply to the members, but to the Board of Director’s as well.

Effective January 1, 2011 (unless otherwise noted)

Membership fees will increase in $5 increments per year for the next five years:

Certification Examination fees will increase:

Applications for the certification exams that are submitted with incomplete documents will be returned to the applicant minus a $100 processing fee.
The rescheduling fee for the exams will stay at $100.00 and will currently not incur a price increase.

A candidate who fails the examination on the first attempt and reapplies within a year will be charged a reapplication fee of $175 for members and $275 for non-members.

Recertification fees for members of ASATT will increase in $5 increments for the next five years beginning with the expiration cycle of 2011:

For the recertification cycle beginning November 15, 2011 individuals submitting their recertification application packets between January 1st and the 31st the late fee will increase from $25 to $75. Members and non-members alike, who are contacted because of incomplete documentation, will incur an additional $50 fee to complete the processing of their packet.

Sensor:
The Sensor quiz will begin to be offered on-line beginning with the spring issue. It will be available to both members and non-members alike. The cost to members will be $10 and non-members $20. Each individual will have only one opportunity to take the exam and in order to receive the CE, all questions must be answered correctly. Members will still have the option to print off the quiz and mail it into ASATT HQ’s (the cost will still be $10).
